At Aquarian pearls we have a range of Rose Quartz bracelets made with Australian South Sea Cultured Pearls, usually 12 millimeters in diameter. They consist of a single South Sea Pearl and the remaining bracelet is 10mm round beads of a semi precious stone.

Rose Quartz bracelets are always popular. Pink Quartz is a translucent pink crypto crystalline quartz. It is mined mainly in Brazil but can be found in deposits all over the world, especially The United States of America and China. The pink colour is caused by microscopic inclusions of a pink variety of the mineral dumortierite. Classified chemically as a silicate and made up of hexagonal crystals, the pink colour within Rose Quartz ranges from feint to very light to slight to heavy pink. Pink Quartz is usually cut into cabochons, and beads and facetted stones. The colour of Rose Quartz is so recognizable that Pantone, the colour company that each year declares the colour of the year, named Rose Quartz the colour of the year in 2016.

Rose Quartz is also famous in the esoteric and spiritual healing and astrological  communities for its healing properties.  It is associated with activating and healing the heart chakra, and is also associated with the astrological sign of the zodiac Taurus and Libra. Rose Quartz is representative and linked to the planet Venus, the elements of Earth and Water, and the number 7. Healers using the stones and asking patients and clients to wear the rose quartz often refer to the inner properties of the gems that represent and enhance a spirit of unconditional love, motherly love, self-love, kindness, romantic love, platonic love and nurturing in general.

Rose quartz was used in ancient Egypt and has been widely used in Tibetan, Chinese and Indian and Western cultures. Rose Quartz along with Garnet is the birthstone of January.
