We start the series chatting to Will Hanigan of Will Hanigan Pearls. Will grew up in Broome, North West of Western Australia, both his parents and grandparents have had life long associations with pearl cultivation and the natural pearl business. After several seasons of being a pearl shell diver, Will entered the world of design and jewellery manufacturing and has created his own successful pearl jewellery line, supplying prestigious outlets within Australia, Europe and the United States. Will loves working with Australian South Sea Pearls, Tahitian Pearls and Philippine Golden Pearls, mixing pearls and gemstones in unique and colourful designs. Will describes is pearl jewellery style as Loose Lux.
